About
Edison Ballroom is proud to announce that once again it will host its annual New Year’s Eve Gala! This year also marks the 15th Anniversary of our collaboration with Joe Battaglia and the New York Big Band. As many of you know, Joe has been entertaining audiences for many years with his special Big Band Sound, and he and his band have traveled the world performing with icons like Frank Sinatra, Shirley Bassey, and Tony Bennett. Closer to home, Joe has performed for such dignitaries as Hillary Clinton, and Barbara Walters. For several years he was the exclusive band leader at The Rainbow Room and Tavern on the Green. Now he can be seen right here at the Edison Ballroom. Joe’s New York Big Band is composed of a 16-piece orchestra as well as accompanying vocalists. Also featured at this event will be the romantic Latin sounds of Direct Latin Influence, also known as DLI.
Award-winning chef and former “Chopped” champion Mina Newman will provide an incredible meal for this special event. The meal will include choices of salad, appetizer, main course, and dessert. In the past, appetizer options have included Pan Roasted Sea Scallops, Yellow Fin Tuna Tartar, and Butternut Squash Ravioli with Roasted Hazelnuts. Entrées have included choices such as Filet Mignon, served with Scalloped Potatoes and Grilled Asparagus, Roasted Chicken Breast with Potato Hash, and Pan Seared Salmon with Wild Rice Pilaf. Desserts are sure to be festive!
New Year's Eve in New York City is magical, and the Edison Ballroom is offering an event that is unmatched for its value, sophistication, and elegance. Tickets are limited so be sure to reserve early for this celebration.
